A walk through Bangkok
The city attracts me shortly after my arrival in the wake of its mass, acoustics and fragrances. The rush of traffic reflects the speed and hurry of the people that surrounds me. Large luminous billboards and loud whistling speakers are courtening for the attention for products and services. There are grilled dishes, fresh fruits and souvenirs at each corner. Both fascinated and tired from the long flight I let the impressions influence on me to get me this again to become aware that I am finally at the beginning of my 14-month journey. Well
rested and raring to go we explored the city the next day. So were ready to discover the Jim Thompson House, with its leafy garden and the traditional printing techniques of the late fashion designer, to drive around the city in a hurry on the Skytrain, to follow the Chao Phraya River and to bring the temple of Wat Arun and Wat Pho, among many Asian tourists, to the picture. Relaxation we found in the Lumphini Park, the place where all the sports addicts of Bangkok meet to share their evenings with outdoor fitness to get their body in shape.

uhhh schöne Bilder, war ja schon ganz gespannt auf die ersten Bilder von dir/euch. Irgendwie kann ich sie (die bunten Bilder) auf meinem Firefox nicht anschauen, wobei bei Göpf geht’s, wahrscheinlich ist das nur so ’ne Aktualisierungsgeschichte.
Wir sind gespannt auf eure Berichte.
