After arriving in Sydney we had to process the first time a price shock. As prices rose for a night on average $ 4 in Asia to $ 27 in Australia! After a few days of sightseeing in Sydney we hired a van to explore the east coast of Australia. Unfortunately we had to

plan some detours, as many forest fires raged around Sydney and it turned out to be difficult to stay free on beaches and national parks, because there were always a ranger or police in hot pursuit. Nevertheless, we enjoy the simple life in the van, the cook with a gas cooker, wake up in the morning with the view of the sea and of course surfing the amazing waves along the coast.

Hallo ihr Beiden,
endlich mal ein Lebenszeichen, hat euch Australien verschluckt?!
Roger, du bist der Beste, endlich ein Bericht von euch (dir). Während ihr euch durch den australischen Frühling tummelt, auch wenn er verbrannt riecht, machen wir uns am Wochenende auf den Weg nach Sölden zum ewigen Schnee.
Geniesst die wahnsinnigen Sightseeings wie Big Pineappel, Big Bananas, Big Ornage, Big weiss der Teufel was, ist das immer noch so? Als ich vor 27 Jahren dort war wussten die Australier nichts besseres zu tun als eine karge Landschaft mit übergrossen Früchten zu schmücken! Touristenfalle?

Viel Spass noch mit eurem Wohnauto, hebet Sorg, wir vermissen euch immer noch.
