Laos
Unfortunately we only had 2 weeks to discover the wonderful country of Laos. Our first stopover we made near the border to Cambodia in Don Det. A sleepy little island with many brightly painted houses and as many dropouts who have settled here. By bike we discover the villages and the island of Don Kong which was reached by a bridge. The waterfall, similar to the Rhine Falls was impressive and the ever-green nature and rice fields give an understanding why so many people have settled down here. After that, the trip took us by night bus in the Lao capital
Vientianne. The city still has a village atmosphere and offers, beside dilapidated houses, chic cafes and restaurants and a tremendously beautiful Buddha Park which we visited. The last days of our Laos trip took us to the north of the country to Luang Prabang. The small village, which in the 16th Century could call itself capital city, is nestled in beautiful green-covered mountains. Lots of cafes, markets and nature invited us to linger and we enjoyed the last days together before our paths will separate. Pia will visit Myanmar for a month and I move to the colorful world of India.

Hollo ihr zwei, fantastische Bilder. Natur pur.
Gut_e Reis_e
